My people, sometimes life surprises you in ways that make your heart full.
A few days ago, I received a call and a visit from my brother and old schoolmate, Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh, Chairman of Zinox Group — one of Nigeria’s most respected technology leaders. He came not just with kind words, but with a massive gesture of love and faith in what we’re doing at The Charly Boy Foundation.
Right there, in a small but powerful ceremony, he donated ₦20 million to support our mission to save Nigerian men battling prostate conditions. That’s not all — he also brought along a large supply of catheter kits, essential tools that so many men in this country desperately need but cannot afford.
A Brotherly Gesture with Purpose
Leo and I go way back — all the way to Holy Ghost College, Owerri. He was my junior back then, and to see him today as one of Africa’s biggest tech innovators makes me proud beyond words.
During our meeting, he told me something that hit deep. He said, “Area Fada, it’s time to focus all that energy and activism into this foundation. This is your spiritual assignment.”
And you know what? He’s right. This work is no longer just a project for me — it’s a calling.
Why This Means So Much
Some of you already know my story. I had my own battle with prostate problems — went through two surgeries, faced fear, pain, and uncertainty. That experience changed me. It opened my eyes to the silent suffering of many Nigerian men who have no information, no support, and no money for proper care.
That’s why this Foundation exists — to educate, test, treat, and empower men to take charge of their health.
So when someone like Leo steps forward to join this fight, it gives me hope. Hope that we can reach more communities, save more lives, and break the silence around men’s health in Nigeria.
A Message to Nigerians
This ₦20 million donation is not just about money — it’s a wake-up call.
Men’s health matters. Our fathers, brothers, and sons deserve care, awareness, and access to treatment.
To every well-meaning Nigerian, corporate body, or philanthropist out there — join us. Let’s make this movement unstoppable.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you, my brother Leo Stan Ekeh, for believing in this cause. Your kindness has ignited something powerful, and together, we’ll keep pushing to make sure no man suffers in silence again.
Men’s Health is Our Responsibility.
